How should I try to get some algae off of my rediviva, coraline algae is also growing on it, what should I do. Can I just try to rubb it off with my hand?

Best bet is your hand or a toothbrush. Chances are if its growing on the animal that portion is dead. I have never seen coraline grow on a living animal, except its shell.

One thing you can try is to get an urchin. I had one and this thing will eat everything, especially coraline. I don't think I would try to scrub it. But slapshot may be right with the dead tissue. Good luck and let's see some pics.

It is struggling. I have been target feeding everyday for the past week( I was only target feeding a couple of times a week). Should I be feeding it more often than 1 time a day to try to save it. I will try to get some pictures and post them.

Hi! I'm new here,
but is this Archohelia?
If so can anyone give me some insight into how and where I can get some Archohelia rediviva, the only place I can see them for sale is in the US, and even then sporadically, and I am in the UK / Ireland :(
thanks,
Fergal.

It is an Archohelia and I have only seen them here in the US a couple of times. Cherry Corals is the only place that I have seen them for sale, that's were I got my frag.
Mine is doing much better since I moved to to my husbands 29gal in his office which only has 2 small fish and is not skimmed like our 2 large tanks at home.My husband said it almost looks alive now. I will take new picutes of it next week when we are back in the office.
