I bought a used T5 Tek light and the reflectors are of course not in prime condition. Does anyone know a place where I can buy replacement reflectors or is there anyway to "re-shine" the current ones?

I believe Sunlight Supply has replacements listed on their website. I wonder if chrome polish would work though. Tagging along as I just picked up a used Tek myself.

Contact Reefgeek. They will have what you are looking for or at least know where to send you.

I'd certainly try polishing the one you have before buying another.

How would I go about polishing the reflectors?

I'm thinking simply using chrome polish & a soft cloth or even better the Mothers small power ball that goes on a drill. Similar to cleaning chrome wheels. I would mask off the end caps if using a drill. Will make clean up much easier.

kind of surprised no one has chimed in with some 1st hand experience with this. good or bad.

Yeah I guess I'll try that. Worse comes to worse I'll just buy the replacement reflectors. Even after that purchase I still paid like 1/2 the price for the fixture.
