Maxcap and Piggy Back

Can I add a piggy back kit to my maxcap system to produce more water and still get the same quality out? Also when I do this does it still have a waste to product ration of 4:1?

So if your production rate doubles does this mean your waste will also double?

Yes, simple RO systems need to maintain that (3 to 4) to 1 ratio to keep the membranes flushed clean of the hardness they are removing from the tap water.

You aren't really wasting more water with two membranes, as you are making the total twice as fast, so the system runs half as long.
