With the many possible option of the cutting edge LED's I was wanting to jump on the bandwagon. I'm looking for a fixture for my 75 gallon (48 by 18 by 20) in the $500 to $900 range. I will be keeping SPS everywhere also so I want LOTS of PAR.

What are my options? Thanks everyone!

You should read the DIY thread it is really easy to make one and you can customize it to exactly what you want. Also you will probably spend far less than $500

I think your only way of covering that space and having sufficient enough lighting throughout for SPS is to do a diy for that price range. Any actual fixture would bust your budget in the led market.

I don't have any first-hand experience (and would like to hear from anyone who does), but Sanjay Joshi reported really good PAR results for the Aqua Illumination fixture, saying "The light output is certainly more than high enough for even the most light loving corals." You can find a link to his article on their website.

But you would probably need two, and at $699 each that would blow your budget.
