What are the pros and the cons to adding a second membrane parallel to the existing membrane? How about in series? Waste water from first mebrane feeding second membrane...

Thanks,
Danny

The best setup is running dual membranes in series. Production goes up to about five to eight gallons per hour depend on water temp. Waste water drops from 4 to 1 down to about 1.5 to 1 or less depending on pressure. You do need at least 65 psi or higher for a dual membrane setup to work properly. We have found dual Filmtec 75 GPD membranes to work the best. There are no advantages to running two membranes in parallel.
