t5 bulb

looking for an online store to get good price on t5 48" actinic bulbs. Can they be bought for around 15.00 or is that in my dreams? Is 20.00 more like it.
Should you go with a name brand?

Has anyone tried the odyssea t5 bulbs being sold on ebay. They are so cheep.

foster & smith has uv`s on sale for 14 something a bulb. plus no extra shipping for them. a lot of online places charge up to 30 bucks just for shipping bulbs, they claim it is higher to ship. total b***s*** bulbs do not cost anymore to ship then other products. bulk reef supply has good prices on quality bulbs with no extra shipping also. most are around 20 bucks + though. i have found the cheap bulbs do not last long or look as good in my fixture

Avoid the cheap brands. Buy the quality bulbs. You will get what you pay for when it comes to bulbs.

ATI, UVL, Gmann, Aquascience, and KZ are all good brands.

I only buy ATI, KZ or UVL. Your looking at about $20 or so per bulb for 48".

I only buy from Reefgeek.com, best place to pick them up IMO.
