Hello Everyone,
In the next few weeks I'm going to finally set up my 180g tank that had been in my garage for almost a year, which is by far the largest tank I have ever had. The foot print is 72 x 24 x 24. I intend to set it up with zoanthids, palys, shrooms and some LPS. I would like to use two Ecotech
MP-40w's for flow. A friend recommended I use two Koralia magnum 7's as they are directional and cheaper. As for the lighting, I would like to use the Aquactinics constellation low profile fixture. I was told that fixture is overkill for the corals I intend to have. What do you think?
You help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You could get away with the cheaper K7's, but with the Vortechs, you would never have to upgrade again.
I just put a pair of MP40's on my 72" x 30" x 25" soft coral tank and the corals are liking the flow.
I also use 3 x 250 watt mh and 4 x 160 watt VHO lighting.
And the color is great.
