View Full Version : What kind of skimmer is this?

Hey everyone, I've got a little 16g bowfront that has a HOB fuge, and the fuge has a section for a skimmer and it came with one. I'm unsure of the brand of the fuge, as well as the skimmer itself. I've got a picture of it..anyone have any ideas what kind it is? The pump on it is tiny and has no brand name on the pump either.

ps....sorry for the dirtiness of the skimmer lol...havent had time to clean it till now

Its a Sapphire Skimmer. Most notable for being one of the first skimmers designed for the various all in one cube tanks.

Thats what i was thinking. Are they any good? And is there a replacement pump that can be used on them? I just dont see how that little thing can be that good for the skimmer. Doesnt put out hardly any bubbles at all.
