10 gal a week on my 90 gal, 5 gal a week on my 29 gal, and 3 gal a week on my 12 gal. So about 10% on my 90gal and 20% on my nano tanks.

I use to change 5 gals twice a week but I noticed some loss or colors in my monti’s. I do around a 7-10 gal change every week or two now.

10-15 gal a week on a 100 gal system or more depending on how the tanks coral look, IE polyp ext and color. Any trace of Algae and i do more, The glass is a good indicator if it needs cleaning more than once a week it's too much and up the W/C volume.

40g Display, 20g cryptic fuge, half full 20g sump

I fill a 5g bucket full enough to carry it from one room to the next. i'd guess 4.5-4.75g every week. My stocking is low for my total volume (5 small fish) and I dose mag and 2 part as needed

Normally 10% weekly (90 gallon tank + sump = ~80 gallons of water after displacement... So 8-9 gallons). This is generally what I recommend to anyone that asks.

However, since I started working out of my house, I have decided to do more frequent changes. I started with 2 gallons a day, then 1 gallon a day. Then I moved to every other day (2 gallons, then 3 gallons). That seemed to be easier. But now I am thinking of just doing 4.5 gallons twice a week.

There are people on here that have setups for constant water changes. I don't know the rate they use, but I like the automation idea.

Im just getting my tank back and going after 5 years of no water changes..just top offs with RO/DI. Had my LFS check the water and its dead on. No amm, no nitrite, nitrate, ph 8, SG was a little low at 1.020. Now that I ahve actually tried to take care of it...I have an algae bloom

40 gallons even week-10days on a 180. but i had very high nitrates for a while, which seem to have come back down to good levels, i will prolly reduce water change volume or frequency once i test this week.
