Just wondering what people like as far as the double-ended 150's or 250's.

Had Phoenix 150ws, switched to Radium 150s. Liked them both, but the colors are just a little better with Radium. Growth very good with either.

Does it matter what ballast is being run for the Phoenix bulbs?

Pheonix 14k !!! it's quite blue but the growth is amazing

i've used no name and it was crap. Then I tried pheonix 14k and I loved it. The I tried Giesemann 14500k and for some reason my SPS started dying - Giesemann are good bulbs so maybe I got bad batch.

Now i'm back to Pheonix and I'm not planning on changing the brand again.

Ive used both. Pheonix will stay blue longer. Hamilton fades from blue to crisp white over time.

I'm planning to run 2 250w Phoenix 14k DE bulbs in my fixture, but I also have spaces for 4x54w T5's. What do yall think would look good in addition to the Phoenix bulbs?

I was thinking: ATI Blue +, KZ Fiji Purple, ATI Blue +, and an ATI Actinic. Wonder if it will be blue enough, lol?

Another vote for phoenix14k. Recently changed to hamiltons. Immediately disappointed. Seem like I was running 6700K's. Everything browner with Hamiltons. ARO e-ballast BTW.

i would say that every color is deeper except yellows about the same maybe a tad less.
