Can anyone point me to a thread or website that gives a good intro/overview of the various LPS species? I currently have a frogspawn that is thriving in the nano at work, and I am trying to learn the differences between acans, favias, brains, etc, etc, etc.

Honestly a good start is to just browse the threads here and kind of get an idea of what corals you're interested in. Many of the LPS have a relatively similar set of requirements in regards to parameters, lighting, flow, etc. It's more of determining what type of corals you like, ensuring the tank is doing well, and placing them in appropriate locations as to keep warfare to a minimum.
