I want to use Novus 1,2,3 to get rid of the scratches in my tank. I am preparing to overhaul everything and redo my aquascape so I will have an empty tank and the perfect opportunity to eliminate any scratches.

My question is, is there an attachment that I can put on a drill, a particular buffing pad, or a buffing machine that I can use with the Novus?

Any of these a good idea?

The last time I did it, I used a random orbit buffer, actually the same one I use on my Firebird. It worked great! If you have really deep gouges, as was with the case of the tank I did, you may have to sand them out first.

Would the power ball work?

It works great on wheels, you don't really want a circular motion, but rather the random orbit. You can get a car polisher for about 20 bucks at walmart.
