What are the best places to place my 3 power-heads in my 72 gallon bowfront reef tank?

Font left, front right and center back (somewhat dependent on where your returns are located. I would point the third at wherever you may have a low flow area.

It all depends on where you need flow based om what you have inside, see where you have deadspots and go from there...

I've saw a tank that size that the person put all three in the back facing forward. Had nice even circulation too.

my girlfriend has a 46gal bow front and i set hers up with 1 power head on left back facing front and 2nd right back wall facing front and 3rd from right to left.

put all three at back. One on the right,one on the left and the other in the middle. Aim them all to the front.....works fine on mine. hth

anywhere where you get good surface aggitation and you don't see any spots where there is debris buildup on the sand.
