View Full Version : Keep having to reset Apex Lite

Over the past two weeks, I've had to reset my Apex Lite three times to be able to view the webpages on my browser. When this happens, I can telnet to the controller. What can cause this type of issue? I don't mind resetting the system on occassion but three times in two weeks is a bit much. Also, is there anyway to control/monitor the Apex through telnet?

What version of the firmware are you running (look at the top of any of the XML reports to find out)

Is it possible you upgraded your firmware but did not upgrade the web pages? It's a two step process - sometimes people forget that second step. Wouldn't hurt to re-update your firmware AND web pages.

I haven't upgraded any of the firmware. I'm using the version that came with my Apex. I'd be happy to upgrade if it will resolve this issue. Thanks.

I would suggest update the firmware; there was some issues fixed but I can't find my notes on what version fixed what and (IMO) it is a good idea to stay up to date especially with a new controller like the Apex.
