Red Banded Trochus vs Regular Trochus - whats the difference?

Red Banded Trochus vs Regular Trochus - whats the difference other than obviously appearance ?

All the red banded ones I've had are "black foot trochus", having literally a partially black foot. All the normal shell ones are white/yellow in foot color. Black foots can turn themselves over well, seem to last a long time in our tanks, and even better reproduce.

You might have better luck in the invert forum with one of those invert wizards (I can move this if you want).
