I bought what my lfs called a rubripinnis fairy wrasse and after looking it up online mine does not really look the same and i was wondering if someone could identify my wrasse for me.

It is a male form of Cirrhilabrus lubbocki, the Lubbock's (Fairy) Wrasse.
Females are entirely red with a white belly and a black spot at caudal peduncle, and smaller.

Lubbocks are some of the most peaceful fairy wrasses, IME. Mine got pushed around by my other wrasses, so don't keep them with fish that are too aggressive.

He looks pretty skinny, so feed him often and fatten him up!
