Aptasia???

I recently added some new rock to my tank and found this little guy. Someone told me that they think it is Aptasia and I just wanted to double check. If it is I want to get him out asap...Thanks for your help

You could shoot it with Joe's Juice or throw a Peppermint Shrimp in and he will take care of it and any offspring. I prefer the shrimp because I personally don't adding anything chemical to my tank to kill off pests.

There are a ton of options but the shrimp has been one of the easiest solutions for me.

Im not 100% sure thats aptasia. Either way doesnt look good. I would suggest the above suggestions as well. I added the peppermint shrimp as well. They will take care of it plus they are just cool.

Ok I might just pull the rock that its on out. There is just the one in there. The only problem cant put any shrimp in there right now cause the tank is cycling.

I don't think that's an aiptasia, not sure what it is, but it's not quite aiptasia looking

I have had live rock with that type of anemone on it in the past. They actually look nice under good lighting, multiply like mad, sting like aiptasia, just not as tough as aiptasia.

A pest all the same.

doesn't really look like aptasia. Might be some weird majano anemone. Either way I'd go with some Joe's Juice

So I cant get a positive answer if it is a aptasia or not. Might bring it up to the LFS see what they say.
