:hammer:Looking into getting a 140 gallon that is 29" tall with two cornerflows. My question is this...Should I buy the overflow plumbing kits, or try to build my own bulkheads from HD and do the herbie or bean style plumbing. Overflow kit is ridiculously expensive when considering the actual components. How much would I spend on a DIY?

seriously?...you can build your own standpipes but your own bulkheads is silly...DIY standpipes about 15$

a DIY bulkhead can be done but is silly, I would simply buy a pair of bulkheads and yes, DIY it. It cant be as cheap as 10$ or as much as 50 depending on how complex you make it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before my tank arrives next week. I'll probably give the durso a shot, as well as some of my own crazy plumbing ideas.:fun4:
