Weird question, can torch coral relase toxins into the water? Can they release toxins and kill without touching? I have a couple a couple of acros that seem to be losing tissue at the tips and trying to figure out why.

I've never heard of torch releasing toxins. It could be alkalinity burns on your acros. What are your water parameters?

Alk, 9.6
Cal, 420
NO3, undetectable
PO4, undetectable
We'll see what happens with them.

I was thinking it might be new growth at first but not 100% sure that's it. I'm continuing to monitor.
