Some say its a cowrie or a mondo Stometella what it is?

What is this and can it be in my reef tank.

Looks like a deer cowrie to me, but I'm no expert, got a sump?

It's actually a Zebra Cowry, Cypraea (Macrocypraea) zebra. There are three similar species, but the dark centers in the white dots along the margin confirm the ID. It will be a cool sump resident, and should do well there.
