Just like the title says, I have all DE HQI lamp/ballast systems, but I'd like to switch over to single ended bulbs for two reasons:
1. I'm tired of bending clips and breaking ceramic tabs half the time I replace bulbs; and
2. I'd like to switch out my current pendants for the large high reflectivity models.
So the question is, can I do this with my existing ballasts? I have a Sunlight Supply dual ballast and an Aquamedic unit. I'm not sure what kind they are, but they consist of nothing more than a transformer, a capacitor and an igniter.
