Ok I have a hamilton tech 70" 3mh with 2 vho bulbs,so I called hamilton and asked for a wiring diagram but for liabilty reasons they can't give me one, I have to send this 50lb ballast back to have them rewire it. So the problem is the guy I bought the light from broke all 3 toggle switches and I'm not sure what goes where. I have one switch that is labled 165w that's my vho, another says 1mh175w and the 3rd says 2mh175w, I also have 3 power inputs but only 3 switches but 4 ballasts.I'm pretty good with this stuff but I don't want to spend the money for new bulds and have it wired wrong and pop! So if anybody has these lights any help would be greatly appriciated.also the setup is about 5or 6 yrs old

I have a t5HO/3x400W MH unit. If you can't find another option I can pop a cover off.

Mine appears to be hard wired though... I don't see any switches.

If you happen to be in NW WA, I'm sure I can wire it up for ya.

DE is about as far as it gets from here.. LOL.

I plugged the light in to the controller and really never thought about it. I don't think I use the switches on any of my tanks

I have three power supplies (wall outlets) VHO ballast one feed, one metal halide one feed, two metal halide one feed... does this sound right? Everything is now hooked up through the toggle switches just wanted to make sure this is wired properly before I put any lights in it. Any help would be great...

Hard to chase wires in the pic, but it sounds/looks right. Mine has all seperate external balasts.
I'm assuming that the one swich goes to a wire split to 2 different ballasts and the other 2 go to their own ballast? The switch that handles 2 splits before it goes to the capasitors? Each switch then is on its own power supply?

I think mine is wired differenty enough it wouldn't be much help, but I would put lights in it at this point and see what it does. I'm assuming the "outfeed" plugs are the ones that plug a whole bunch of wires in at once, and one is covering the CFLs and 1 MH, and the other is covering the 2 MH? You might want to confirm that each is going to the correct lights by chasing those wires as well, unless they are designed only to plug in to a specific male plug for each one.
