Hello,
I'm interested in putting some red (hopefully) macros in my anemone tank. So far, I've got Sargassum, shoal grass, and some codium.
I would like to add one red macro that tangs would preferentially not eat. I have seeded other algae in there and am ready to put a small tang in to keep it trimmed. My hope is that the less desireable will be allowed to grow and fill in the tank. This is anemone-clown only tank....plus a tang.
Here is a picture of what I just got, hoping it will fit in. However, after reading a little more, it looks like it may get eaten as well?
It is a red fern algae:

Here are the tank's inhabitants:

Advice on what red macro that would give some height would be appreciated. I do plan to add some taller live rock in the back for the tang in the future.
Also, I have high flow and high lighting in there if that helps people with their recommendations.
Thanks in advance for your help.
