Ryan I am trying to talk a friend into purchasing your setup as an anemone tank, I almost have him. Its tank only? no rock and sand?

ryan_paskadi

Right now its is the tank, heater, timer, powerstrip, and extra nano powerhead. There is water in it and some sand. A couple snails and maybe a hermit crab.

It is cycled and running.

Yes and no, it is still cycled and running. there is sand a hermit crab, some mini star fish and stomatella snails still living in it.

The small powerhead that runs the filter went out. So it would need to be replaced or swapped out with the additional powerhead I already have. All of the other equipment is still running and fine.

Yep, the tank is very nice and is temporarily set up here in Cruces. Soon it will be on its way to Amarillo with the proud new parents :) *Secretly, hoping they don't hate me for introducing them to this hobby*

I hope david is happy with the tank. He called me and said the moon lights werent coming on. Said he call me back after messing with it somemore.

Never heard back so I assume everything is working. Anyway it was nice meeting your friend audry and I think he will enjoy the hobby

I'm not sure about the moon lights either. Maybe someone here can take a look at it before they leave? They also had a question about what kind of skimmer you were using on it. They will need one eventually.

ryan_paskadi

Didnt use a skimmer. There over rated IMO.

Interesting. Did you use an ATS?

ryan_paskadi

ATS? No just kept very few fish and fed very little.

Ahhh. I see.

ATS-algae turf scrubber. Want to start one in my tank but the logistics of doing so are a nightmare. I will probably figure it out during x-mas break. People swear by it.
