Is a ATI 6 bulb good enough for this size or do I need the 8 bulb. Can people who have this unit tell me about it. Is the Sunpower as good as the Powermodule? Is the TEK Elite as good at ATI? Thanks

well i just purchased the ati sunpower myself. 6 bulb and i love it. from the facts ive seen the 6 bulb will dominate a 100 gallon. I guess it depends on the height though. i bought mine at reefgeeks. I also was told the tek elite is good to but the ati was about 15-20% more proficent. there isnt a big difference between sunpower and powermodule. i think some models have an extra fan or they have a nicer look.

What size tank do you have and what are the dimensions?

I have a 120 gallon, 48 x 24 x 24 with a 6 x 54 ATI Sunpower. It's plenty of light for a 24" deep tank. I have it about 5 inches above the water.

What type of corals are you keeping?
Performance wise, The PM outperforms the SP by like only 5 - 10%. Aesthetically, the PM looks much better because of the material used.
