Ok so I got some live rock from a buddy the weekend of july4th and put it in my 44.it had some dusters on it and a bunch of thumb nail snails and nice color,so I have since bought a bigger tank and moved my rocck to that tank and now I'm seeing these strange things growing on the rock.there pretty small and they sorta look like dusters but the have this long worm like tenicule(beige in color) my lfs says there some kind. Of colonial worm or somthing like that?do I pull them off or leave them alone?

that sounds like vermetid snails :)
I have 2 colonies of them. They are harmless filter feeders.. but they can be a pest with the silk like strands they put out..

do you mean Spionid worms? cause those are also harmless filter feeders :) I don't know a tank that doesn't have them!

I guess that's what they are,if they start getting out of hand then I guess I will worry then
