Okay I was doing a water change and cleaning and I discovered this guy on my glass... Need some help. What is it and does it say or go.. Also fighting an apitasia outbreak with Apitasia X..

My vote is hydroid but I'm not sure. They sting corals but they don't last long in an aquarium.

Why would it be attached to the glass?? It also seems to move around quite a bit.

Thanks for the congrat... Don't know much about them... I will do some research. I would think he would move off the glass and onto a rock.

Will the crabs bother him?

Mine just tend to wander... I have gone 3 weeks without seeing them then one day they pop up on the glass 3 times the size they were the time before.
