I just added a pair of maroons to my 90g tank and wanted to share the process. I already have two mated true perculas in a carpet that lay eggs about every 10 days.
I got a maroon when I got the percs (sucker for a closeout sale).
The percs paired off and everyone got along fine for about a year. Then the maroon got very assertive so into the sump she went.
My LFS got some ORA gold stripe maroons in a few weeks ago so I picked up a small one. The female white stripe was in the last section of my sump. I put the new male in the section upstream of the female. They could see each other and water flowed from the male's section into the females and back to the display tank. This allowed them to see each other and perhaps she could "smell" him?? He seemed eager to get into her compartment and she would swim back and forth.
After a week I put him in a breeder container and hung it in the same sump section as the female.
After a few days I turned him loose and after couple of nudges: friends!
I don't know if it was the process or good luck, but it couldn't have been easier.
I just got a large bubble tip and added it at the other end of the tank from the carpet anemone. Fortunately it didn't move around much and I could add the maroons on Sunday. She was in the BTA as soon as she saw it. It took him about an hour to nuzzle his way in as well.
The different clownfish species have to swim around a rock to see each other. I figure if I keep anemones and clowns well fed, there will be relative harmony in the tank. The maroon came over once and nipped at the female percula and darted back to her BTA.

I will update notes on their behaviors and the pictures as time goes by.
