View Full Version : Where to buy a shell for my Marine Hermit Crab

I was wondering if there are any places to buy shells for hermit crabs i have 3 of them, 2 of which i bought from petco and one i found on the stone harbor beach of nj. Ide appreciate any sources suggested.

There are a million of them on eBay, or you can buy them at any of the seaside souvenir shops. You can even get the baskets of shells at Hobby Lobby or one of the other hobby stores to provide a variety of choices. Then again, if you REALLY like your hermit crab, and want him to sport something exotic and expensive, I can recommend some shell dealers for you....

Craft stores like Michael's usually have small bags of shells you can use. That's what I have done.
