I am looking for recommendations as to where to place the overflows and how to maintain proper water circulation in a 6 foot long, 2.5 foot deep, 2 foot wide SW tank.
This tank will be a two sided view, in a wall with the Front & Back as views.

Well the question is, do you need an over flow or overflows. It depends on how your room is laid out. If the ends of the tank are up against a wall then I would design a large overflow for one end of the tank and run your plumbing (in and out) through the overflow to limit the amount of visible plumbing in the tank.

Without know what you want the final outcome of the tank to be, its hard to advise as to what other plumbing requirements you may need.

The ends are contained in a wall. I plan to provide accessoblem (in my plan).
Although I will be doing fish only in the begining I am planning for an eventual reef

I think you need an overflow at each end because otherwise you'll start a surface slick at the end that doesn't have an overflow.
