(My 1st post ) Just purchased a Hanna Instruments Phosphate (LR) Photometer with 890 nm LED. I have read all the posts here and I must say I have just used it twice and so far so good. First test Fri about 4:00 pm, reading of 1.1. (my manual test tube read between 1-2) I set up a Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor 550 using D-D ROWAphos Phosphate Removal Media. I took a reading today (a little less than 24 hours) .42. Quite a bit of reduction, I must be praising Two Little Fishies as well and ROWAphos. I did not do a test tube reading today, will check again tomorrow, using both methods and post.

Sun 08.29,just took new tests,Hanna photometer.25. Another good reduction.
As before kudos to Two Little Fishies and ROWAphos Phosphate. Also Aquarium Pharm, even though the color was tough to match I did guesstimate around between .0 and .25, now that is a big difference BUT for a $30.00 test kit with old chemicals , not bad. Since I started in fresh water 50 yrs ago and my first salts 36 yrs ago I am getting serious about paramaters, (mainly because I am trying my hand at clown breeding), so even though the photometer is pricey $$ it should last the rest of my life and be worth the $$
