Is my elos no2 test kit expired?

I bought this from marine depot 3 months ago and haven't opened it yet.

I noticed that all my other test kits say 11-14 (im assuming thats the year they expire) but this one says MAG 2010.

I am not sure but I would guess that MAG (maggio) is italian for May.. and it was made
in 2010. Pretty new still. Not even a year old.

thats messed up that they would sell me a old test kit.

I do not think the test kit is expired. It is their way of telling you when it was made versus
other companies that tell you when it expires. The OP never did mention what brand of
test kits say 11-14 on them. I am guessing salifert.

All in all, I think there is nothing wrong with this situation and the OP could go over to the
ELOS area on this forum and ask.

i am the op. for some unknown reason they banned me. the elos kits say: 11-11 (ph), 12-12 (po4), 12-11 (ca), MAG 2010 (no2). salifert actually says "expiry date"

Well it looks my guess may be wrong then if the other elos test kits have 11-11 or what not.
It cannot possibly be the last two digits on the year for the manufactured date...
Perhaps it is a batch number or something like that.

It sounds like asking in the Elos area will get you an answer within 24 hours.

Maybe not my place to ask.. but you got banned for asking this question in the last few
hours??? Are you sure your computer just did not have some issue causing you not to be
able to log back in as your previous username?

I cannot imagine RC mods banning someone over this thread. Impossible even.
