Ok, so I have this $200 gift certificate from liveaquaria.com. I want some coral. Already have several zoas, a colt, 6 heads blue ricordea, several shrooms, purple acro, a high color clam, and a small frogspawn.

I am looking for color. I can't make up my mind. Must have gone there a dozen times. I want them all!! I need help picking out the one, or the two, to spend that certificate to include shipping. Help!

Might want to describe your system a bit so we know what kind of corals you can keep in there.

Sorry, I forgot. I have a 150 gal tank, 150W MH x 3, actinic T5's X 8, return pump at about 1100 gph, 4 Koralia 750's, and about 100 lbs live rock. I also have a PS good for 300 gallons, a phosphate reactor, and a 20 gal refugium. The system is about 6 months old, looking into 2 part dosing.

Well, sounds like just about anythting would work in there. How long has the system been running?

I know. It's about 6 months old. That's why I can't decide. Which one is your personal favorite, or which one would YOU buy?

i really like this piece

http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+8&ddid=95436

little pricey tho

im a sucker for alot of those very bright doughnuts. you can place them pretty close to ur other corals too vs some corals(frogswapns, hammers, chalices , maze brains+ more all have crazy long stinging tentacles at night.

you could look into getting some nice acans or 2. maybe splitting a colony with someone as i see alot of them are giant colonies.

Just a few things that caught my eye... I'm not sure what types of corals you like, so I went with a variety... :)

Thanks for the help!

I think I am being steered towards LPS corals. I will NEVER again spend this much money at one time, so I thought I might as well spend it on one, single, big ticket item. On another forum, it was pointed out that if I spent another $25, shipping is free and I get better coral. Those devils! :)

So, which of these 3?

Yes. Lost the gramma from bullying in the 110 QT, last night. Right now, the 150 tank has NO fish, just the coral/shrooms as mentioned above.

Thanks! Looking to consume that gift certificate for one item, though, since I likely will never spend that much again.

I have to order soon, since the 3 choices I posted above are from the diver's den, and someone else may buy it. Of the three I posted above, I think I'll pull the trigger on this one: http://www.liveaquaria.com/DiversDen/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+8&ddid=97028

Opinions?

I like that choice, but I'd go with

I have a blastomussa like the one you picked with possibly better greens. The one I linked seems a little less ordinary, bigger, and cheaper. Also remember, it will look slightly duller in your tank. Another Blastomussa I have was growing off its rock, so I glued it to another one. Turned out to not be the brightest idea not to give it a flat surface or perpendicular surface to grow onto. I was having some tank issues, but it seems to be on the growing path again. They generally like medium to low tank position with slight flow. Important to keep the polyps not touching anything when expanded. I don't spot feed them. Just a head up if you end up going with it.
