Macro ID and where to buy?

I saw this in another reefer's tank and wondered if anyone knows what it is and where to get it?

ochtodes i believe. reefcleaners.org carries them seasonally, most people collect them from tide-pools and such.

It is Ochtodes...it is a very invasive macro tho...add with caution :)

i have some and so long as you are careful with not tearing it up too bad it can be ok in a tank, but as it breaks apart it can get a little out of control. not as bad as other species, i happen to like it in my macro tank.

Does this algae attach to rocks?

That is beautiful!! Can you put these in a reef tank on live rock and let it grow like a coral? It's so pretty!
