ok peeps, i've got a 220gl FOWLR tank, with a sand bottom.....i'm wanting to add a shark to the family, so my question to you guys is, what's a good one to get?
also in the tank:
6-7 inch stars & stripes puffer
7-8 inch lion
4 inch black dogface puffer
4 inch clown trigger
10 inch green wolf eel
13 inch moray eel
all sizes are approx.

Whats the dimensions of your tank? If its 6ft or less in length and less than 2½ft in width I would probably steer clear of any shark.
Furthermore, what kind of sand do you have on the base? It needs to be very fine. If it is to course it will scatch the bottom of the shark and potentially cause infection.

6-7 inch stars & stripes puffer
4 inch black dogface puffer
4 inch clown trigger
the above fish are not good tank mates for any shark that would possibly work in your tank
below listed fish i dont know anything about
10 inch green wolf eel
13 inch moray eel
and with the lionfish its very possible the shark will "stab himself" on the lion because most aquarium size sharks swim like bulls in a china closet and dont manover around fish well for the most part
so i would say no shark for your set up in my opinion

The tank size is fine for small bamboo sharks... at least for awhile (its a lot bigger than most tanks sharks get put in). The puffers and trigger would be an issue, they will rip that shark apart. Large aggressive fish love to pick on mellow benthic animals. The store I work at once tried reef flounders in our FOWLR with a large french angel. It wasn't pretty.

Alot of those fish and inverts are fair game. Sharks also require tons of open space on the sand. Honestly most sharks are pretty boring and just sit around during the day. If your on fire for a shark, look into setting up a pond.
