How does one test for stray voltage in a system.??? I seem to get a
"tingle" at times when my hand is in the water. Other then the "unplug and dip my hand in " method is there a meter or probe that will tell me which of the many (6 power heads, 2 return pumps, 2 heaters,ATO pump, dual reactor pump,ect....) electrical devices is leaking voltage. Everything is GFCI protected. :eek1:

Let me guess you dont have a ground probe ;-)
You need a DMM ( Digital Multi-meter ). You can use an analog meter if you have one, but they are hard to come by these days.
Put the meter on ACV ( AC-Voltage ). Drop the red lead in the water and connect the black lead to a ground prong on an outlet ( the faceplate screw is supposed to be a ground ).
You will always sense some voltage, but you are looking for the biggest drop when you unplug things.

Ground probe??? Expand please. Sounds like a pretty good idea seeing as there are tons of volts and 250 gallons of water. DMM meter. Any home center I suppose??
