30" halide lighting

i'm looking for a hqi light system for my 54 corner tank. it onlt takes a 30" or smaller light. any idea what i should use? ive seen some cheap stuff on ebay but i'm not crazy about trusting the quality of it.

Have you tried your lfs to see if they have any used ones? If they do they usually sell them cheaper and all you need to do is change out the bulb.

Try finding a Sunpod, I dont think they make them anymore but theres usually a good many used ones around. I have one on my Nanocube and its great. I believe the actual dimension is only 20-22" but it has legs that will extend a good amount or has a hanging kit. Very nice lights... look into them.

I never found a 30" fixture that satisfied me, there just isn't a lot of variety out there. I ended up with a 24" combo fixture in my sig below, and it has worked out fine.
