New tank about 1-1/2 months old. Today I noticed tiny whits bugs on the glass that ocasionally dart. Would these be copepods? Will they be a problem? Have 2 Clowns and 2 fire fish that seem to be eating them. Sorry no pics

They're most probably copepods and they're no problem at all, just extra food for your tank. My tank becomes a copepod-battlefield during the night as they all seem to come out, little ones, small ones...I usually grab a magnifying glass to look at them closer LOL

I would guess amphipods actually. But hard to say without seeing them. Those are the ones that are easiest to see among the 'pods'.

Pods are good. They help keep your tank clean and are food for your fish. A healthy system has plenty of them. Eventually you might not see them during the day, but you should be able to see them at night with a flashlight. Although it can be harder when they in the rock and not on the glass.

I don't think I've ever seen an amphipod on the glass. Copepod or isopod IMO.

Check this out.

Oops, missed the glass part. Okay, then I go with isopod if you are seeing a bunch of them. There may be some copepods in there too, but I find them to be more of a rare sight. It could be all copepods, I am just guessing.
