I've been away from SW hobby, just got back and very rusty. I'd like to ask about LR, I bought a dried LR (fiji) and as I read through different sites they recommended to soak in vinegar and rinse after soaking. I soaked the LR for 2-3 days - rinsed them with tap water with a hose (don't have any pressure washer) - then rinsed them with RO water. Now I'm stuck bec. I do not know if they are good to go in the new tank or what. So I'm asking anybody with experience about LR. Right now I placed them in a bin with a skimmer and saltwater. When can they be safe to go to the new tank? The new tank has live sand and 30 lbs of LR - been running for 2 weeks and test are all OK except for PH which is at 7.8 - 8.0 . What's next? Thanks!

I think your on the right track. Test the bin water like you are for Ammonia and Nitrates. If they are limited, it should be fine. Just seed it with some cured live rock and you will be good to go.

just seed with some live rock and add to your tank.

Hope that helps.
