so first off a little info about my system.
Tank: 36 gallon bowfront
Dimensions: 30" long x 15" wide x 21" tall
Lighting: 4 x 24"t5ho
Flow: as of right now its just a regular old powerhead thats only like 200gph

I want to keep kind of a mix of corals soft, some lps, and maybe sps at the top. So i think i should upgrade my flow.
I was thinking 2 Koralia nanos at 425gph for 850 total. Does this seem like a good amount of flow?

I would probably go either two koralia 2s or a 1 and a 2. JMO I had a 2 in a 40 breeder, along with 3-4 other powerheads and it was about average flow I think.

oh really i thought that maybe the 2 koralia nano 425 would almost be too much because its not a really wide tank, but thanks for the answer, any other oppinions?

For me, i would put at least one K-Evo 1050 in the tank, with either a K-Evo 750 or the old type Koralia Nano.

Angle them up towards each other to agitate the surface, and promote random flow. I really don't think that would be too much flow at all.

I have 2 Evo 1050 and one Evo 1400 in my 75 gallon tank.

really i thought 850gph of powerheads would be good for softie lps dominated and maybe just 1 or 2 sps, but ok other oppinions?

I had a pretty evenly mixed reef and I was happy with the k2, a QO1200 Return(250gph), two 110gph PH. WOuld definitely have needed more if I wanted more High-flow corals. This was in my 40 breeder, so 36" long.
