Moved threads on me. :fun2: A couple things to be aware of. This can work, but having both the tusk and hogfish can create some issues, but they should learn to deal with eachother without too much of a problem. Introduce them: hawkfish, tusk, tang, puffer, hogfish, trigger.

She has a 125.

It's a 125 L, judging by dimensions. I'm going to arrange a couple piles of LR, making it so they can weave in and out of rock while swimming to make it interesting for them.

I was iffy on both the hogfish and tuskfish, but if I had to choose I want the harlequin.

SOrry about moving threads btw, I just thought we were getting a bit off-topic and I wanted a new title. Heeheee.

Would it be possible to have a Tomini tang and the convict?

You could have both tangs if you want, but that will also be a source of some conflict which should also work out in the long run. I would get rid of either the tusk or hogfish if you did so.

REVISION!

Flame Hawkfish
Harlequin Tusk
Convict Tang
Tomini Tang
Dogface Puffer
Indian Trigger

I would be a happy camper if I could have 2 tangs. I would be set for life I think. :)

Would work and good order of introduction. Having two tangs in this system will really help control the algae which you will find is more difficult to control in a fowlr.

My husband is asking if we can have a toby puffer. Lol he doesn't like the look of the dogface, but I know he will love the personality.

Remember dogfaces come in different color choices; normal brown, black, dalmation, yellow belly, and yellow. Really, your newest revision is pretty heavily stocked, but it can work as I have pretty much the same stocking. If you sustituted the dogface for the toby, you wiould less overstocked. However, if I had to pick, a dogface is much more enjoyable fish because tobys do not have anywhere near the personality even though they are more colorful and stay much smaller. I could not pick so I have both. :hmm1:

I realize I do have a lot in mind in the way of fish, I just love them all. The one I could probably be ok without is the hawkfish, but I just wanted a splash of color and a fish that would stay on the smaller side. I'm big on personality in fish, though.

My husband on the other hand, is big on "pretty". Lol.

big on pretty ? why dont you consider any angelfish or butterflyfish. Since you're going fowlr, they're good community options.

Indian trigger , harlequin tusk and convict tang will be cramped in 125 L tank (34 G tank) (even in 125 G tank)

Ya, I think these fish in a 34 gallon would not only be cramped, but impossible to maintain.:lmao: She does not have a 125 liter tank. She has a 125 gallon long tank. I guess we self-centered Americans need to remember that the rest of the world has moved on to the metric system.

When I said 125 L, I meant 125 LONG... not liter. Lols. I believe there are 2 variations of a 125g, I could be mistaken.
