I just bought this yesterday, but I have no luck googling it. I saw it at the lfs and wanted it so I bought it on the spot. I know I know.... Im suppose to research first. They told me it was a torch anemone, but I have not found another that has branches like this on google images. Can someone help me out?
And should it not be so close to the zoas?

My lights just came on and its just opening. I took that picture about 30 minutes ago, and its already bigger so it seems happy to me. It now looks like it did at the lfs.

Yeah... Frogspawn. NOT an anemone. It has a stony base.
What you REALLY need.... is to find another LFS where people know what they are talking about. ;o)

Maybe they thought is was a torch coral? Related to the froggies at least.
Looks like you are starting to get an algae problem. Might want to cut down on feedings, more water changes, or a bigger clean up crew.

Yeah I googled torch coral and it seemed to be closer to what they meant. Just trying to figure out what it is so I can take care of it.
Well as far as the algae, it is getting better. It was worse, but I thing betweent he tang the turbo and the emerald crabs, its getting alot better.

Some torch's or frogspawn's are actually that color... beige/brown tenticles with white tips.
