I went out and got some Peppermint Shrimp for my Aptasia problem and there doing a good job. I added a couple of starter fish and there healthy doing great and eating well. My ph is 8.4 my amonia is 0 my nitrite 0 and my nitrate close to nothing it's not exactly at 5. But not 0 either. Well I had a question I want to aquascape my tank better so is there anything I can use to "glue" my rocks under water and also I have an outrages amount of dry rock that i'm thinking of using some to do some aquascaping outside the tank but that would mean I would have to re-cycle my tank again right? I'm not planning on using all the dry rock I have just some so I can do a section of my tank.

kinda off topic but I just bought two peppermint shrimps for my 60 gallon tank last week and they haven't even touched one of my aptasia's!

there is some glues and epoxy, but it can be hard... drilling and inserting acrylic rods is what some people do... also pull ties...

btw... you do tattoo's...? where you located...?

If the "dry rock" is completely dry and devoid of any life, I would just re-aquascape and put it directly into the tank, unless you have some really rare and expensive or very sensitive fish I wouldn't worry about them (they'll make it thru the mini cycle).

BTW if you're going to drill the rock (this might be obvious) you need a masonry drill bit and wear a mask specially if the rock is not dry.

Mine were like that for a few days just give it time they'll start getting to them. Yeah it's completely dry. Well I also wanted to glue some of the ones that are in the tank as well I don't really want to drill them. And yes I'm a tattoo artist at a shop in Oxnard ca called The Pain Parlor. All I have are a couple of Peppermint Shrimp a couple of starter fish and a mushroom that came with the live rock when I bought it and that survived the first cycle just fine. I was just thinking of doing the aquascape and putting them in there and letting it cycle again.

Ok well i didn't use any of my dry rock at all to aquascape i just used my rock that was in there and redid it all and it looks great! I went out and got a diamond back blenny to help clean with the sand so everything looks great. If any body has any starter coral that they would love to donate i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all for your help!

I have a nice start of green torch that you could have. I'm in Agoura Hills. Next time you come this way, let me know. Doug

Ok i will. Remember i didn't use any "glue" or epoxy i just stacked them very snug onto each other to give me that look. I'll snap some photos as soon as my lights come on.
