Should I get the System 120 at Elos 48x22.5x20 or Miracles 48x24x18. Elos is trying to match the price of Miracles for their tank and stand.
1. Miracles has a good reputation and the tank is tad bigger
2. They will try to match me a stand that looks like a Elos stand.
3. If I buy the Elos I know the stand should look perfect!

Originally I was going to do a 54x24x18 but Deep Sea Aquatics scared me when they said they would only do that size in 3/4 inch glass. Elos and Miracles both disagrees.

I vote for...GLASSCAGES!

HA! I don't think you could go wrong with either of your choices really.

I would be getting strictly the stand and tank. Elos has to come down about $600 to match Miracles price for stand and tank. I would not be getting their expensive sump. I can buy an acrylic sump much cheaper.

i would have to decide by price at that point

Hard choice I spent many months debating. I had a miracles tank ready to go. I choose elos..The reason? Still hard to explain but I think if you get a chance to see an elos tank it, does the talking...As far as stand they have the best looking stand but Imy only wish is the stand was more heavy duty. I mean it holds up but I dont look at it and think this thing is going to be around forever. I have a modern taste so Elos fills my needs but if you look at my tank I mix and match for price and style and most importanly function.

Theu came down 600? Sounds like a lot to spend on a tank of that size, its under 120 gal right? U shoul d just get the tech tank 120 by oceanic or whoever makes it, starphire glass, for about 900 total. Might be cheaper i dont know. Drill it wherever u want. Save u some big money for your other equipment

Miracles, hands down. I own several aquariums made by them and the quality is great. JMO

I went with a company called Reef Savvy and couldn't be happier with my tank. Might want to check them out.

i've seen elos tanks in person, i think they're good but not godly the way people make them sound.

With a 120 size tank you'll be into this thing 4-5K by the end of it. So get what you want exactly! I've been chasing the next "upgrade" for 10 years. This last 29 gallon I'm building is going very slow, because I refuse to use equiptment that I'll have to "upgrade" later. Spend the money once and get EXACTLY what you want, or you'll later wish you had. 600 bucks is small potatoes over the entire cost of this tank throughout it's life. If you just love the Elos stand, then you won't be happy with an imposter.
