Pick up some Mrs. Wages pickling lime from a local grocery store, usually less than three bucks for a bag/can. mix just a bit with ro water till you get a runny but workable paste, take some on the tip of your finger and snuff them out one by one. Don't risk a CBB. Cheap n easy first always. Just think you get the added alk and calc benefits too! http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-01/rhf/index.php

i used pepermint shrimp.you need 3 or more to get the to form a aiptesia hunting .It worked great i didn't have too many but they were gone in a day or two.My coral beauty ate them once but they came back the shrimp did a more through job.

I went for a mixed approach - nuked/pasted all that I could get to, then let a trio of Peppermint Shrimp handle the survivors. Haven't had any new aiptasia in three years, knock wood.
