Need quick help!!

Ok so I was away for the weekend and my mom was supposed to keep topping off the sump.I guess she ran out of water or w/e. Anyway, my water level is pretty low in the sump and I rather not run the pump and risk overheating it(?). Is ther anything I can do now to refill it? I have no dechlorinator.:thumbdown..I threw a big HOB for some aeration..Will this be okay until tomorrow morning?

Can't use tap water, it isn't the best for algae, but wont completely kill your system. Or you can boil water and cool it ant top it off. As for a HOB, it will not hurt, but if your pump isn't out of the water or even if it is, it won't heat up enough to cause problems, just noise.

If you have a couple of powerheads, put them in the tank and shut off the main pump. They will be fine until tomorrow.

^ +1 Or, put something in the sump to displace the water so that the water level rises. You could use old milk jugs (washed, of course) filled with water. I wouldn't dump in tap water - you'll regret it later.
