You have your sump in the garage? What is the temp out there in GA? The T2 is a 90W pump and will add that much heat. An air cooled external would be what you want to use for minimum heat.

yea, they do run hot & thus put heat into the tank but they are silent

You could possibly throw a PC fan to blow air across the pump to help cool it down

Some state 1-3 degree increase on smaller tanks with these pump. I ran a T4 on a 210g & notice no temp increase........

There was a slick DIY on that pump...adding a heatsink and DC fan. still as quiet but cooler.

what a pump that wont increase my temps i dont rly have the room for it to go up, but soon ill be adding more space volume to the system so will that help lower the temps?

and will the t2 raise my temps on my 90 to high? it has about 7 feet to push but its not pushing up

88 degree garage is a problem, more so than the pump. If you were using a T2, a Panworld 50PX-X would be a good air cooled alternative.

I used a single P4 on a 180 as the main return pump and I did see a few degrees of added heat, but when I put a 6" clamp-on fan pointing to the wet end of the pump, those few degrees went away.
