20 gallon setup thoughts please ^^v pics!

this tank is its early stages so its still subject to change. what do you guys think of filtration? should i leave both the skimmer and filter on? i still want to put a powerhead in there and i feel its already cluttered. so i would really like the option of just having one kind of filtration. also, how do you like the rock work?

i put a filter cartridge from my already established 60 gallon so i'm expecting the cycle to happen rather quickly. i plan to make it a mixed reef with a few fish. im excited! hehehe

I would definitely add a powerhead or two. I run a Koralia 1 and a Koralia nano in my 24g, plus a recirculating pump that is just over 300 GPH. If you can afford it, an EcoTech MP10 would provide all the circulation you need with very little impact on space.

More circulation keeps more stuff in suspension that can be filtered out with your mechanical filtration and skimmer. You may opt later on to remove the mechanical filter if your skimmer is good enough, but for now I would leave both forms of filtration until the tank is more mature. You can always modify the HOB to turn into a refugium if you're crafty :)
