I've had the ATB purple and just got the Red Devil, The edge in performance goes to the Red Devil but dont expect mesh volume air from it, however, the Red Devil starts up everytime I turn on the pump.
I also have stock white pinwheels but not sure if they are Octopus or not, still, the Red Devil is supperior.

I have the Warner Red Demon on my Octo Extreme 200 which is the same as the AquaMaxx Red Devil that Marine Depot sells. Works great without any startup issues. Produces plenty of bubbles to fill my collection cup every few days.

There's also the white lightning PW as well. It's supposed to be the same as the RD wheel.
