Hello,
I've had a FOWLR tank for some time now and kind of by chance got thrown into Coral this past weekend. I was offered a rock that had 3 candy cane's and a couple of button pollops on it as well as a small chuck of what I was told was chocolate Chip brain coral.
I put both frags in my tank and the next day my Chocolate chip coral was covered in what looked to be a brown sludge. That cleared up on Sunday but not there is almost no color to it.
Of the 3 stalks of CC 1 looks ok, one is withered into almost nothing and the 3rd is starting to show signs of withering.
I know I should have researched more before doing this and of course now I'm paying the price. Any ideas on what it could be? I change my tank water approx 15% every 3-4 weeks and all my normal params are 0.
